Privacy Policy
This site (tamaratkachuk.ca) is operated by Tamara Tkachuk, a mortgage broker licensed in Ontario (Licence M08001105). This policy explains what personal information is collected through this site, how it is used, and what your rights are.
What I collect
When you submit the form on the homepage to request the free guide, I collect:
- Your first name
- Your email address
That is the only personal information collected through this site. There are no additional forms, no behavioural profiling, no purchased contact data.
How I use it
Your name and email are used to:
- Send you the free guide you requested
- Deliver a short follow-up email sequence (five emails over roughly two weeks) covering common questions about the spousal buyout program
- Reply to you if you write back, or contact you if you specifically request a follow-up
After the five-email sequence, you do not receive further emails from me unless you reach out. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Where it is stored
Form submissions and the email sequence are managed through MailerLite, an email service provider. MailerLite stores subscriber data on its own servers and operates under its own privacy policy, linked above. Discovery-call bookings are managed through Calendly, which collects only the information you provide when booking (typically name, email, and the time you select).
Cookies and analytics
This site may use the following analytics and ad-measurement tools. They load asynchronously and do not block the page; you can opt out using browser settings or a privacy extension at any time.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook): measures the effectiveness of any Facebook or Instagram advertising I run. Records anonymous events for page views and form submissions.
- Google Analytics 4: aggregates anonymized visitor patterns (page views, session duration, traffic sources) so I can understand which parts of the site are working.
Neither tool gives me access to your personal information, only aggregated, anonymized usage data.
Your rights under PIPEDA
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information I hold about you
- Access or correct that information
- Withdraw your consent and have your information deleted
To unsubscribe from the email sequence, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. That removes you from the list immediately. To request full deletion of your data, email me at tamara@tamaratkachuk.ca and I will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
